Default telemetry on dx3s

trying to set up the motor temp reader and it says it tape it to the motor....

what type of tape do i use??

I used two 3/8 in wide strips of the Aluminum tape that is used for the heating ducts.
One on the thermisiter (the little yelloy/orange thing that is the heating pick up) and one at the other end to secure the wire going to the RX. Just be sure to go all the way around the motor with it.

that tape is damn near 15 dollars from what i saw!

I assume we're talking electric here....? You can use pretty much any tape. Spektrum recommends the run of the mill tranparent tape for temps under 250°.
