Default help the new guy!

Hey guys I recently pulled my old t maxx out of the garage and want to get it running again. I bought it in 2002 probably. The stock electric starter is shot and the air filter is rotted to crap so im thinking about putting in a bigger pull start motor. I havent been able to find any info on these older t maxx's and i was wondering if the chassis has changed since then or anything else. thanks for the help.

Is it the pro .15 or a 2.5?

its a pro .15. im thinking of putting a os .18 cv-rx(s) into it. The only thing I cant seem to find out is if suspension upgrades are all the same. for example, are the 2.5 suspension components usable on my old pro .15?

The bulkheads didn't change so you can put 2.5 arms on it (with longer tie rods and steering linkage). The driveshafts should extend out enough so you could use the ones you have. The newest 3.3 has a different steering knuckle/driveshaft all together (bigger/better).
There is also a conversion kit available to put a bigger motor with a slide carb on it as well.
