Time for a quick reminder...

In case any drivers still have RC energy they want to use before Christmas, we hope you can attend the:

2008 PDNR Charity Challenge - Kids Race Day - Oran Park

PDNR are once again excited to invite all RC drivers to the 2008 Charity Challenge. It's on Sunday December 21, once again as part of the Oran Park Kids Race Day.

Lars, the on road SA state titles have moved from july to september. The dates are 5th and 6th.

Thanks for that. The calendar has been updated. You wouldn't know which club will host the event; would you? I have tried AARCMCC, and some SA clubs, but I have found no information so far.

Sorry for the delay in replying, but I had to work out scheduling for the Nitro-X Masters Series.

Dates are as follows


Nitro-X Masters Qualifiers:-
R1 Barmah - March 29
R2 Shepparton - May 2 (Saturday)
R3 Castlemaine - June 7
R4 Mildura - July 19
R5 Bendigo - TBC
R6 Sunshine - September 27

Final: Castlemaine - November 1

Default Nitro-X Masters 2009

The Nitro-X Masters is all set to kick off for 2009.

There have been a couple of important changes to the series that everyone should be aware of.

1/. Contested classes will be 1/8th Buggy AND 1/8th Truggy.

2/. Fuel is to be any blend of Nitro-X brand fuel. Bring your own.

3/. Entry fee has been reduced to $10 per vehicle for contestants.

4/. Prizes. As well as the airline tickets for first place in each class at the Final, there will also be :

4a/. Series TQ in Buggy class will receive an O.S Speed 21
4b/. Series TQ in Truggy class will receive an O.S. VZ-B V-Spec
4c/. Series TQ privateer in Buggy will receive an O.S. Speed 21
4d/. Series TQ privateer in Truggy will receive an O.S. VZ-B V-Spec

5/. Calendar. The calendar has been set:-

Race Dates - Victoria - 2009:-

Qualifiers:-

Barmah - March 29
Shepparton - May 2 (Saturday)
Castlemaine - June 7
Mildura - July 19
Bendigo - TBA
Sunshine - September 27

Final: Castlemaine - November 1

Default NOT GOING TO THE OFF ROAD NATIONALS????

Not going to the off road Nationals in Canberra, then why not come to this event and have some fun.

2009 Ryde Classic (formally the Grand Prix Masters)
Practice day, 24 January 2009 - times to be advised shortly
Sunday, 25 January 2009 at Blenheim Park Raceway, Blenheim Road, North Ryde.
Rain day - Monday 26 January 2009.

Classes:
2wd & 4wd Stock (13.5 or 17.5 Brushless) and 27 turn 24 degree motors.
2wd & 4wd Modified
2wd & 4wd 10.5 Brushless (19turn motors can enter this class)
Trucks Stock & Modified.

Format:
Racing will be 6 minutes plus last lap.
Three (3) staggered heats, combined best 2 of 3 will count to finals.
Grid Starts - A Finalists will contest 5 x 6 minute finals with best 3 of 5 counting for placings
B, C, D etc finalists will contest 3 x 6 minute finals with all counting.

Entries are now open but close on 18 January 2009. Online facility will be open from 4 January 2009 go to www.sydneyrc.com and Online Entry button.

Trophies to first 3 placegetters in each class with Top Qualifier and Top Junior recognised provided there are 3 or more juniors.

Entry Fee: $25.00 for 1st class, please add $10.00 for each additional class you enter.

25 October - Bob Burbage Memorial Vintage Meet - Pipe Class & 4wd - date to be confirmed
13 & 14 November - Electric On Road Masters - dates to be confirmed
