Default water proof ESC?

I have a NOVAK HV 4.5 and I would like to know if there is a water proof ESC that I can use with it?

The Castle Creations Sidewinder is a brushed/brushless ESC and is waterproof.

CC wont tell you that it is "waterproof", but they will say that it is "highly water resistant"....just technical jargon to cover their butts...

The ESC will not handle the amp loads of that large of a motor. The Monster Max is definitely not waterproof, and it's not just jargon.

Haha....no offense! Dont take it out on the ESC of mine that I sent you guys last week!

So, why did you guys not design the MMM to be "waterproof" as well?

None taken. There's no way to waterproof the fan connection unfortunately or we would have. The fan was necessary to keep the ESC cool under extreme loads so we couldn't get rid of it either. The controller is handling a lot of current/voltage...2600W+...about 3.5hp...no way to do that in such a small package without a fan. We'd have to make the controller massive.

Would you be able to Plasti-Dip it? I understand that it wouldn't be removable then...
