If the motor is completely installed and has the spur gear and everything on then no you probably won't be able to turn the driveshaft. Remove the pinion and make sure you can spin it to be safe though. And yes it can handle a 5700MM but you have to be careful on the settings. something like 30% punch control. Make it easier on the gears. They can be fragile sometimes... That is if your putting big power through them. I ran both a 17t and a 10t in my buggy absolutely fine. Put my 5700 in there without tuning it down a little and ripped the gears apart in no time. This was on 3s but still should be careful.

I just finished the kit. At first, when I rolled the car forward by hand, the front wheels didnt spin. I guess I tightened the front diff too much. I took it out and loosened it a little. I tried to drive it this time and it sounds like it revs, then engages. What causes this? Is my diff too loose now? What can be the problem and how can I get it fixed so it runs good?

Wait you took the motor off before you rolled it right? Did the rear tires roll? Was the shaft spinning?
#50
No, I rolled it with the motor mounted. I believe the shaft was spinning. I hooked up my electronics and ran it on and off the floor. Everything spins both ways but I am getting some slipping. Should I tighten the front diff a little?
#51
Well if you have the motor in then all 4 wheels shouldnt have spun. Tighten your diff up before you mess it up.
#52
Ok, will that get rid of the slipping? How tight should the diff be? I should be able to spin it by hand right?

I got mt kit together. I am doing the body for it tomorrow.
I will post pictures soon!

I think the body needs to sit a bit higher than that
Will post pics of mine tonight, but at the moment it's running a 2s Lipo, Hobby Wing 60A Esc, Spektrum Radio and Traxxas VXL Motor. And yes, it hammers!
Hop ups include Slipper Set, TRF Shocks, Front / Rear Universals, Custom fan set up and LED lights.

I thought that height was good enough.
I plan on ordering some upgrades soon.
I also need a new rear body mount set. When I cut my body posts, I cut one too much and the body clip barely stays on now.
