Hacker Brushless users

I am looking to join the brushless bandwagon and have been reading a lot about the hacker C40 motors.

I see that most US sites recommend the C40 7T for large fast tracks and the C40 8T for small tight track but I also see that hacker have a 6 Turn available My question is what turn is best suited to most NSW tracks for Modified Racing such as The Creek, Forestville, Mingara, Castle Hill etc. I don't want to just jump in and buy say a 6T and find out that it may have been the wrong choice.

Also does anyone have any info on weather Novak are releasing a faster version of their SS5800 as I have seen that they have released a new one for Trucks and a SS4800 for stock racing?

Thanks for your advice

HV-Maxx system and SS4800 motor (not system?)...

Good questions. Now I use a 6 turn, why beacuse I wanted to fastest one LOL. But it is overkill it pretty much wheel shins out of corners and you have to gear it a little softer than a 7 or 8. I know a guy that uses a 8 and is just as fast as the 6 but is much more drivable. I would go for a 7 turn if I was doing it again, perfect motor.

All of the tracks listed I have driven on and is fast around these places. Castle hill the 6 turn is major over kill but very very fun to drive with if you like heart in the mouth style driving LOL.

The Novak is perfect for Castle hill but gets killed on the other tracks. Any other question give me a PM and we can talk about it further.

I have advised many people on these systems now and everybody is happy with my advise and taken it. One guy didn't and he ended up with a system that blew up on it's second run at MECA 4.

Maybe he will listen in the future.

Thanks Coxy
I Think I will go with the 7T, as drivability is beter than all out speed ( unless your showing off out on the road with your mates )

Cheers

yeah post some info simon. i'm getting a s9550 and am hoping i can shrink the god awful esc down also.

as a nitro owner with no electric experience except for a hacker, they are great. i have a 6T and find i have no lack of power issues.

just get used to that dead spot at low rpm's. just focus on setup, cuz you'll have all the time in the world when you're in the pits....
actually get a brushed motor, the time you waste in the pits can be a good excuse for why you didn't win your race j/k man, i'm 3 laps slower than the top guys at my track ..i blame it on the tamiya ....the tires ... oww hang on the top deck always gets tweeked

I will get the correct code numbers for you soon when the testing is completed, just to make sure what I recomend is the goods.

If you after Hacker and Schulze then give Kellets Hobbies a call. I am pretty sure he will help you out. Also you can look at a place called www.finedesignrc.com but a little dear..
