Default charge lead question

Newbie here..
I have a prophet plus LCD charger that has a Male Deans plug on the charge lead..could i take this adapter and cut off the banana plugs and put a female deans plug and use this to charge all my batteries?

yep, but when you connect battery to ESC make sure you don't reverse polarity..
