Rebuilding Kyosho GXR-15 questions.

I was just wondering what parts i need to change on the motor on a regular basis to keep it healthy. I scored a new piston and liner, piston pin, con rod plus front and rear bearings for a great price in the event that it needs to be rebuilt someday soon. Ive done alot of reading and it seems people change con rods on a regular basis. Why is this the only regularly replaced part compared to the other ones? Should i be investing in more rods??

the conrods, whilst running at 40 000 rpm, stretch meaning the little bushings in the hole where it joins onto the crank strech and this will produce movement and this can lead to the piston putting out the glow plug. also due to normal wear they will get weak, and possibly break, this is when u probabley will have to replace the rod, pin, piston, sleave, bearings and even the case if it has been periced by the rod.
