The Caster K8T is just as race worthy as most other kits out there. Don't overlook it, you will be very pleasantly surprised if you ever see one in person. I would put it up against a mugen, Hyper, Losi and especially the RC8T after whipping on a bunch of them already with mine. The quality is there, just the name needs to get out there.

for the best parts/customer support I would stay spend a tad more and go with either:

Losi
Mugen
Kyosho
AE

These companies have the best in the world racing them, these same guys provide the feed back that makes these trucks the best. Then almost every major shop carries them and every regular joe races them week after week.

Take a minute and look into the losi 8t and the support they offer. You also have the top guys on the team here on rc tech answering questions.

All the others have great support as well!

Again, you may be looking at a little more to start but it will be worth it for you.
