I would suggest at least getting the diff. Since you really cant mess it up much from racing or from running it. and it will only make your life eaisier. however you can always bend the bulkheads, so that can get pretty expensive.

Default Hello

finally tested my rc12l3 with the CRC damper tubes and motor mounts!! It was great!!!! Planted but maybe because I was not going that fast!!!! But comparing to my driving withthe damper discs, i like it more now!!! Just a feedback!!
Peace and happy racing!!!

Default 1/12th scale Corally wheel Conversion

one of the guys at our indoor track was talking about getting a Corally 12th scale. i was mentioning the the issues concerning wheels and tires being unique to that type car only.

does anyone know if there is a company that makes a conv kit to make this car compatible with the US standard TRC, JACO, or CRC wheels?

Fike, racing this Sat again?

I run a Corally, and have not had a problem running Corally wheels/tires. The tire combos work well, and are cheaper for me to buy then TRC's or Jaco's, that being said, I do not know who has a conversion. I would be willing to bet a new diff/axel set would cover the rear. But the front, I am not sure... Might want to ask in the Corally Forum.

hi guys, need your help. i run a stock rc12L3 with nothing changed except in-line axles up front. theres one other upgrade id like to have and thats a clamp style left rear hub. i know IRS has them but i just wanna be sure these are the right ones to get. saw some in stock at tower hobbies.

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUU43&P=7

also, are there any other things i need to replace or have to make this thing work? i assume no and that i just have to replace the screw on hub that comes with the kit with the clamp and all else should remain as is ..... but just wanna be extra sure.

thanks!

Default Help to choose 1/12 car!

Hello guys,

My friend and I are interested on purchasing a 1/12 car.

Which one you would suggest?

Here in Greece, there is no 1/12 racing and as such the shops don't sell them. So we don't care from which continent we have to buy it BUT we would appreciate to give us a list of items we need to stock as spare parts in case of breakages!

Thank you

Nick

for eec community , i guess the corally SP12M would be top choice,
cheap and easy to get parts in europe. the sp12 has the strongest chassis low cg bottom t-bar hassle free battery holder , solid rims wont wobble like AE wheels , arms are made of carbon fibre you can fabricate your own if broken. you dont have to remove top plate to remove motor.

that 's all the + point if you are in the EEC.

if you want to use Jaco on corally wheels, you can peel of the tyres from jaco and stick it onto corally wheels. pretty easy and neat to peel, i use to do it.

i posted the Corally wheel question here and then later scrolled down and saw Corally Forum. someone else had already asked the same Q.

same canned answer

i don't care if they are cheaper, supposed rounder, and etc.
i do not want to buy separate arbors and maintain different wheels, bearings and diff parts.
