Default questions, questions!!!

hi guys! just have two questions....

1. would the HPI mini cooper body fit the Tamiya MO3 chassis? direct fit or needs adjustments?

2. would the HPI x-pattern radials fit the Tamiya mini wheels? again, direct fit or adjustments necessary?

thanks in advance....

HPI and Ride tires are a direct fit
The Hpi body doesn't have pre-drilled holes and the WB must be the same (check that) so I think it fits, i wanted to put a Tamiya body on my mini RS4 but i would have to drill new holes...

Nice Mini Utieh, it looks so...hungry! .

Now I have a serious quezstion for any of you guys using a ball diff in the M-03. I was wondering...is the ball diff lighter than the stock gear one?

and how wide is the ball diff, because I know the stock gear diff is 3 cm(about 1 inch) wide. I think a narrow gear would have less friction.

and is the part number 53070 manta ray ball diff?
thanks for any info.

By my reckoning the ball diff is lighter overall. It's also narrower, about half the width. The diff to use is the TA03 Ball Diff, the part number for which I forget, but it's lighter and a better design than the Manta Ray diff.

Anyone know if the TA03 adjustable camber link set is TCS legal?

Dirk, that should point forward edge of the rear wheels in toward each other and add rear grip at the expense of tire wear and drag. If you are having trouble keeping the backend in the back, toe in would be one thing to try.
