LRP SPX and TC-SPEC
#2
If you're refering to SPX Bullet Reverse (#80450) then you're almost correct, it's very close to a TC-Spec with the same motorlimit.
But SPX Super Reverse (#80400) is different in hardware with a higher turns limit.

Ok, so what is the difference exactly?
Why #80450 is cheaper than #80750?
And next question is:
Which combination will be faster?
x11 9,5turn + #80750
or
x11 9,5turn + #80450
or
x11 9,5turn + #80400
Or maybe there won't be any difference in speed and acceleration but i don't believe in that. Common situation is in brushed world.

Of the speedos you list, the order in speedo is as following (from fastest to "slowest"):
1. 80750
2. 80450
3. 80400
Differences are not huge between the 3 when running 9.5t but they are noticable.
Don't know about the price structure, sorry. This is different in most countries.

Can you give some info on the new SPX stock spec? Seems like a bullit during last Speedweekend, but what are the pro's when we compare it to the TC-spec?
thanks,
Eric

The SPX stock spec ESC is specially designed for Spec motors like 9.5T or 13.5T so these will have higher RPM in compare to other ESC. That´s the pro in compare to the TC-Spec.
For low turn modified motors this may be a little too much so some of the usual power profiles (but not all) as used with the Sphere Competition versions are also included in this ESC from what I know.
If you´re running modified the TC-spec still will be the best choice, for spec motors the new SPX stock spec then.

Hi,
the new SPX stock spec will be released soon. It has some hardware and software changes for more power with stock racing brushless motors.
We used the prototypes at some major races here in Germany and LRP Team drivers won the important 9,5t 5cell races with that speedo. (German Champion, German LRP-HPI Challenge, ETS races...)
The ESC has 8 Power programs. The first 4 are nearly the same as a TC Spec and 5-8 are for stock racing. I'm sure that their will be some official information very soon.
You can find a first picture on the ETS site: http://ets.redrc.net/page/2/

the spx is for stock classes. 13.5 and down that was explained to me by an ae driver. the sphere comp better for 2wd off road the tc is better for touring car. now lrp is dropping the sxx speedo early next month i would wait for that. im getting one its already on order. as for motor go with a novak they are the best motors out rt now imo ive tried orion race hated it the lrp x11 hated it and the novak loved it oh and the tekin not a fan. im not gonna mention the mamba cause thats just bad plus its not sensored so it cogs.
