You might want to try blue barcodes. The day before the Surf City race we tested them out and they seemed to work decently. Give them a try.

I would really like to try the bar codes, but it looks like JC isn't offering those on the 4WD fronts. I would like to try those on four wheels and see how they do. The tread patterns definitely looks very interesting, looks almost like a taper pin with some orthogonal bars...

Jason or Andy, is JC planning on releasing some more 1/10th 4wd buggy fronts of other tread patterns?

Break out the scissors and CA. I've cut and shut many tires (including barcodes) for the front of my B44 and never had a problem with them. Just take your time and they will come out fine.

You can run Goosebumps on hard packed clay, but the Double Dees' will most likely be better. The intention of my statement above is they will work on any surface, loamy to hard packed. They are especially good when the surface is very hard packed, but sandy....an phenomeon we have pretty much ALL the time at Florida tracks.

There will be more tires released in the future. Just not sure of when. I know that the BarCodes have been tested for 4Wheel front's. And should be released in a Truck rear. Witch will be awesome. But, as testing, and finding the right compound takes time. There is no time table here.

I remember many a race busting out the super sharp scissors, the exacto, the penny and the thin CA to build a custom kick everyones ass tire.

Still getting third kinda sucked, but it was worth it to have any advantage, haha.

Here is a pic of a new JConcepts bodee painted up....8ight.

Ya, we sacrifice a penny to hold a drop at a time of CA during the surgery.

Hope school is going well....i'm sure it is for you!

Hopefully we'll get to hang out and do some bench racing at B&B!

While i'm here.....New bodees
