Default Lipo ?'s

I am new to the lipo world. And just wanted to see what everone is running and how they like it. I am wanting to just have two or three, which size/brand should I look for? I am going to be using this in a xxxt with 5min runs.

I have Orion (Kokam) 3200 and a 4800. I love the 3200! Easy to use.. doesn't require constant balancing (just like Orion said). Fits nicely in all my cars... It's hardcased and ROAR legal....

I mostly run 2wd stock off-road with my Losi XXX-BK2.. brushed and I can go well over 10 min if I wanted to on my Orion 3200.. but you can do that with a 4200mah NiMh too..

On a bench test my 3200 Orion can go 9min 38sec on a full 20amp constant load to 6v cutoff.. that is basically like a 27-turn brushed stock motor at full speed the whole time... we don't use full speed the whole time in a race..

There are guys at our track that have run both qualifying heats of 5min each and their 6min main on 1 charge! They aren't the guys that are winning.. but it's still kinda cool.

I'm using a pr od NeuEnergy 5000 2S lipos to run both my Emaxx and FLM converted Emaxx. The Emaxx is still running stock Titans and the FLM Emaxx uses a Feigao 8XL. I get 12-15min or hard running with a few high speed passes. I still have 4000 and 4400 7cell NiMH pacs for the Emaxx but they hardly get used anymore, the feel and balance of the Emaxx is better with the lighter weight using lipo. I've converted to lipo for my tx also, lighter and lasts longer than either alkalines or rechargeable AAs.

I too run Orion 3200's in my XXX-CR and they work amazing. I have run my Orion 3600 but I don't really like the extra weight in there(My car doesn't either)

You might want to check out the new Orion 3400, it should be pretty much the same weight as the 3200 but with a 25c over the 20c with the 3200.
