Hey guys!
I'm looking for some tips on how I can get my TA04 going faster in the stock class. The restrictions are 90/30 gearing on a Johnson/Mabuchi 540 and no speed tuned gears or flat chissis' (tubs only). I don't have alot to spend on hopping it up so what are some general tuning tips and all that I can do which will really help me get ahead of the pack?
Thanks alot.
Regards
Pat.

front shocks (3) hole pistons 50 weight oil tamiya white springs
rear shocks (3) hole pistons 40 weight oil tamiya blue springs
stand the front springs all the way out on the front shock tower and arm
stand the rear shocks second hole out and second hole out on the arm
run a front one-way and if possible run a center one-way
5 droop on the front and 4 droop in the rear
your rear gear diff is fine. I've tested them and have gone the same speed with both.
Run 2 degree's rear toe. (2) degrees of camber all the way around and 5 degrees ride height. I've only run the tamiya nsx body with this car. Put a large screw driver handle on the front belt between runs. Don't worry the belt will get tight like original.(not good) Keep it as loose as possible. Just run your electronics. All that extra stuff really doesn't help that much if they work. Add some roll to your car in the remote. Make sure to adjust your steering throw left and right and your dual rate.
Hope this helps.
Also put the blue swaybar on the front.
