I used 46 all around on my IFS-R and had no problems at all. The stock IFS-R turnbuckles are pretty short from the manual.

are the spacings wrong for the buckles. b/c our issue is the camber links being long.

question for IFS-R owners...
does it comes with the parts in changing its in-board front shocks to its upright position?....same as that on the standard IFS kits...
thanks

No such luck. The dampers' posn can't be changed to upright
#351
So you want to change your ifs to a regular 05? Why?
#353
back to our regularly scheduled prgm. is interesting to see that the IFS car was 35g lighter than the standard 05R. both cars were outfitted nearly identical, but the scales didnt lie. also didnt lie when they were both still quite chunky (nimh) vs the min weight.

On another note, are the rear shock towers any different between them? The carbon parts seem to have different part numbers...
#355
They are different. The ifs version angles down at the ends. it lowers the body mounts.

yes a 05IFSR was 35g lighter than the standard 05R. IFSR was outta the box, both cars had spools, both cars had 4600s, 13.5 BLs and same radio kit. both had standard issue bodies (no LWs).
