I'm in the same spot. I have a vzb with a bad crank and a ninja with a bad rod and sleeve. I'm going to put them together and see how the mix n match parts work.

All the parts from the VZB series and B01 ninjas are interchangeable.

Does anybody know if the B02 crank will work ok in a B01a? I have got a B01a but the crank pin is worn out and im looking to rebuild it. The only crank i can get hold of at a reasonable price is a dlc B02 crank

Wow how did you wear out a DLC crank? Anyway I should have a good Bo1 crank or a VZB speed crank. Either should work. PM Me

I picked up the engine 2nd hand for a few parts i was after but the crankshaft that was included was a v spec one, the seller must have taken the dlc crank out for themselves and put a vspec crank in with a severely worn crankpin. Thanks for the offers on the crank but for now ive had a bit of a change of plan, but if i change my mind and need a crank ill be in touch

After 2+ of hard gallon, the dlc crank only wear a bit so is better to replace with dlc
