Help guys!!
I just a new FTTC3 to replace my tired old one and its got the new white gears. I have a bunch of the old Grey gears all broken in-all in perfect condition. I run stock and sometimes 19 turn-no Mod. Which gears should I use-Grey or White for best speed and efficiency?
Thanks,
Ray

Ray,
Run the grey gears. The white gears were the first batch of replacements and a prone to breaking. Probably would never break either gear in stock or 19 turn but at least you'll have peace of mind. Btw guys... Buy the chassis from Ray! You won't find a better milling job for the money. I got one earlier this year and love it. Balances the car and makes it feel more planted to the track.

thanks again

I milled the chassis so the batteries were 1mm away from the driveshaft when mounted in the foward battery position.

I'm pretty sure they do. But only the new edition team kits will. The old ones have that composit or graphite shaft. Personally I like the composite and graphite shafts for stock better because they're lighter.

Mike, not wanting to steal all you setup secrets, but what did you do to the car as the temperature dropped during the day....since you couldnt change tires, did you have to goto springs/shock oil????
Thanks for all this great info to chew on...

I was wondering if most were running the car with the battery tray mod in order to get the batts closer to the center line or are they running the chassis stock.Want to know the benefits to running it closer to the centerline in handling and what are the factory guys doing.I know cyrul is running his car like this.Anyone else? Thanks guys!
