Switch it around.
bowties on the rear for foward bite and crimefighters on the front for more steering.

+1, sounds right.
If you ran the Bowties in front with CF in back, sounds like it would push in the corners off power.

Then would that combo be called CrimeTies?

Usually outdoor tracks. Tracks that have a broken up surface or a rough surface.

Right now my buggy feels great with the Bowties rear and Crimefighters front. Our track is dry with a semi-packed surface. No groove or anything. It's not a smooth surface at all.

I thought that was called Tie Fighters... only works if you're really really EVIL.

If you are going to use that setup , you want to snip off the inside and outside row of knobs on the crimefighters. If you don't it will probably be too agressive on the steering.

before you totally cut off the out side row of nobs try them, if too agressive cut them at a 45 degree angle if still too agressive then cut them off all the way. the ones that i am running are cut at a 45 degree angle and they work awesome.

"Crime Ties"= Crime fighters on the front and bow ties in the rear easy way to remember Crime first = front, Ties second = back.

You can also play with the compounds on the tires. I usually run M2's, but at times can be too hard and hooks a rut and rolls me over. Right now I run M2 in the front with the Crimefighters and M3 in the rear with the Bowties and will run the M2 Bowties depending on track conditions.
