Maybe in a year or two. I just got a second DB12R for Christmas so no reason to switch anytime soon.

So you've made 39 posts here in this thread and your not buying one. WOW

Steve

BMI makes a great car, and Jason seems to be very helpful, but make no mistake this car will sell well.

i didnt know you have to buy every car you talk about, if thats the way it worked, i would be in serious debt. There usually isnt many new 1/12ths out there, so since the R5 is the newest, most likely, whats wrong with talking about it, because we all know that eventually, parts from it will be making their way onto other cars.

Not to mention is a nice design and worth talking about...even if we don't buy one.

I don't have any issues at all about talking about it but I think its best not to judge the car harshly until its released. You have put it down a couple of times, but don't worry about it. All I said was this car will have big sales and Team AE has won, I believe 18 Ifmar world championships, so they know how to build a quality car.

oh, well i wasnt attempting to put it down, i was just trying to say that i dont think it can overtake other cars out there so easily, because there wasnt many testing races done with it, so it's hard to tell what its gong to be like. Professionally, i dont think it will do all too well, because the big names in 12th, like Spashett, Moore, Rheinard, etc. all race for an existing company, and wouldnt switch over. It may do well at club racing, as do most cars, but it wont be long until people starting changing things around on it, and soon enough, itll evolve into a new CRC or Speedmerchant, or something. To make it short, its like a cycle, starting with AE in front, and then on the end, its the tired out car.

it will be juct the opposite buddy. ae has a strong onroad team and you will see this car right up there with speedmerchant, crc, bmi, and others. it has some very innovative features and will do very well. also factory guys change teams like they change underwear whaen contracts are up dont be suprised if you see some big names jumpin back on the ae bandwagon.

Are these servo mounts special to the R5, or are they used on another model?
