personally I think the best servos are the airtronics 359's and the 360's for now, but my friend from airtronics says their are new ones coming that are even better

Thumbs up

I will throw in a vote for either JR (excellent warranty and customer service!) and Hitec (tough as nails!) for my servo needs! I have a set of JR 8800's in my buggy, 8800S for throttle and 8800T for steering. We'll see how they fare this summer! If summer ever comes!!!!

If I have steering issues I will swap in a Hitec 5955 ( 333 oz of torque! ) or the new JR 8711 ( 403 oz torque!!! )...
Both are around the $100-$125 area...

On the warranty side, HiTec all the way. They will service just about anything they have made on the cheap. I run a 5995 TG in the 8ight buggy and run a JR 9100T in the 8ight T. Both have done me right so far. There are many good ones to pick from. I also run a couple of old Hitec 945's for the throttle and have a 925 that needs to be sent in.

Hi,

++on ACE. I use 1013/1015 on all my buggies/MTs for steering duties.

Regards,
Joe Ling

This thread is great. I am in the SAME boat, just getting back into the hobby. Started looking for some servos to buy. I too have been a futaba guy. I bought S9351 and the old S9450, they have been working great. But not high on the torque side. So I've looked to see if Futaba has released anything with high torque. And they have not. In fact they are releasing servos that are not even making the charts, as far as torque or speed. Price maybe.

What is up with Futaba?

I too am going to the JR servos, great reviews and good price for spec.
