Not sure which servos to use...
I have been running Futaba servos for a while now but it seems like they are not holding up plus the customer service is not that great....I am on the market for new servos what do you guys suggest....Leaning towards JR or Hitec

I've had JR and they have a great warranty/replacement service. However, I recently went with the XP's 1015 and am very impressed so far. Great speed and torque with a big brand backing it up - Team Associated!

i'll go with the KO Propo ones... made in japan, and ultra smooth...
a little on the priccey side, but well worth the money... haven't had a problem with them for the past 2 years...

Try the Hitec HS-5955-TG for the steering. One word "Awesome". 24kg of torque (or 333oz for imperial brothers out there). Just put one in my truggy and nothing can stop those wheels turning. I've always been Futaba user myself favouring the 9351/9451's but this just may be the servo to turn me . Even considering one for the throttle, that kind of torque would be mad on the brakes

i've ran both jr and futaba servos but the winner on steering has to be the hitec 5955 tg. awesome torque and decent speed. have my servo saver as tight as i can get it and the servo handles it with ease. had one on my throttle as well but want it as a backup just in case. i now use the ko propo 2367 ICS on throttle and it is excellent. super smooth with ample torque for the brakes. just my .02

+1 Charles, Ace (the new AE 1015s are the same, only re-badged) 1015s are gold (.10/200 Oz/In) on steering. 1313 is good for throttle/Br. @ .13/173 Oz/In. Also, the Hitec 5955 is stupid strong, not sure the actual ratings. I personally ran one for a short while, but Im back on my Ace now JR also has a 3 yr warranty, so it might be worth looking into them. I had a 9000T in an MGT, it locked up, I sent it in with no receipt, they returned a brand new one to me Lot's of options out there, I personally prefer Ace, but all in all, there's other good choices too

i have run Jr 9000 series for years no problems! I ran a couple of Futabas and they didnt last. I dont hink you can go wrong with JR, Ko's, or Hitecs.

I have had a ton of the JR 590's, 650's, 8411's and 9000S's go out on me.... I have had 4 9000T's and never had an issue. It seems to be thier best servo that I have found. I have not tried the 9100 series yet. I am still running futaba until the ones I have give me issues.
