Default ProTek Lipo's

as anyone got any reviews on their use of ProTek Lipo's?

Im looking at buying a couple, and they seem real good - spec wise - but I wanted to get a few opinions.

Thanks

I've been using the RX packs. I have three of the 2000Mah ones and they seem really good. I have about 6 months worth of use on them. I haven't put them on a balancer yet but that is on my "soon" to do list to balance all my lipo batteries.

I use Ice chargers. Haven't had a problem yet. I think the Protek batts are very good batteries.

Who actually makes ProTek lipos? I was thinking about getting a few of the ProTek 35c 5000mah packs... I like the looks of em! They seem legit enough... We run Pro-20 Mod truck here... Basically 5 minute qualifiers, and 20 minute mains!

I have a pr of 3S 3300mah ProTeks that are TX batts. They arrived pretty out of balance - 1 cell in both were off a good bit. It took my Hyperion 0610i a bit to get them all balanced and they have pretty much stayed that way. Been over a year on one, and 8months on the other.

I've been satisfied with their performance, they last quite a while and are much lighter than the NiMH pacs they replaced..

I have several of the 2S 4000 Protek Lipo's that I bought last year when they were 32 bucks........They're holding up good....But A Main has gone and jacked up the prices of the Protek lipos so that they aren't that good of a deal anymore. Still a decent lipo though.

I have a couple of the soft 2S 4000mah 20C packs and they are great for the price. Also A-Main has the best warranty on Lipos of everyone.
