Default Sunday

Ah sweet man, glad to hear all went well. It will be good to see ya back sunday.
Last sunday just seemed like a warzone, 2nd heat I just pulled my car off to get out of the way. My backend was kicking out bad due to the tires.

Hey Alex whats this I hear your running Ed's son's 18r next weekend. Should be a blast man. Jer are u running yours next week?

Cool Hey Guy's

Hey, I wanted to say wassup! It's Theo from the track. I just found this thread and wanted to see how many guys from the track are on here. As you all know Cabin Fever is this weekend and I wanna hook my ride up in the spec class. If anyone was watching and has some suggestions I would be glad to hear them. What settings are working for you guys running the rubber touring class?

Thumbs up

The car has no grip going into turns at a nice speed. seems to drift thru the whole turn till i get ready to come out of the turn then it grabs but it feels like it's just rippin tire and not takin off. My tires are probably not helping. they are old sorex 28r with hard shaped inserts. the car seems to get a little better towards the end of the race, but by then it's too late. I am gonna try those settings out Alex...Thanks. Is anyone goin there to practice before Sunday? If so let me know!

alex,
you are prolly right on with the tires.last week even though i wasnt fast at all.i tride jaco greens for the 1st heat and the car was terrible.went to the 24 tires which i ran there 2 weks before that and they were better but stil a little washy.then tride 22 tires for the main and it was like having 30s on it....im still thinking of running the rubber tire class.but im going to run a pack in my car to see how traction is before i go and sign up.....will make my mind up from there...

qustion......would you all be interested in taking this thread and moving it to another forum?

lmk and i can arrange that.rctech has been like way slow...again lmk and alls i gots to do is a little bit of typing and its done.

Ya this gets really bad, I'm glad it's not just me. Posting a reply seems like it takes days. Let me know if ya guys want to move. I'd be up for it. Hey Theo, are u using tire warmers? Not that it would make a dramatic change but it would make things more consistant.

i used tire warmers the past couple times there.it does help out for like 3 laps...the car is dialed...but then you start noticing them loose grip...but it s not hard to maintain what you had going...

i did some wrenching on the rdx at altoona track tonight.and since i have been to both places and know that altoona has way more bite than marshalls does..well thats how i set the rdx up..i made it have so much steering so it would wash out...hopefully when i take it there on sunday it will be just what i was looking for.if it does need more steering wrenching i will.

i still might run rubber tire there.but like i said before i want to get a pack thrue it and see how it feels for me..
