spektrum mod on an airtronics m11 how hard is this to do? any tips?

This is pretty easy just don't think you need the antnea sticking up too far.

I did this mod on my M8, but I wanted the anttena shorter so I broken off the hinge at the bottom of the anttena. Works very well and isn't hard to do. I just need to find a rubber gromet for the hole in the module. The duct tape matches the gray case though.

I have a bag full of the grommet/caps. I'll give you one, just cover the cost of postage.

Want another way to close the hole?

Just cut out a hunk of a motor/nitro spray can lid and CA it into the back of the module case...behind the opening. I broke off the lip and used my reamer to make the hole smooth, then glued the piece from the back.

t looks pretty clean for a 10-15 minute job I did on a whim while sitting in a garage full of drunk RC guys.

A buddy of mine did this to my EX-1 Mars. It's really cool, except mine has the Spektrum antenna where the original antenna is.

Thanks. I think I'll just find my own at the local hardware store. Not much sense to paypal a buck.

I used the cap off a an old dynamite fuel bottle fits pretty good
