are there quiet days when you can just go run some laps for a few bucks at norcal hobbies?
I'd like to run on a track for fun, without getting all hardcore about it
just wondering if you show up on like a tuesday at 2 or something if they let you out there
maybe like early on a sat or sun or something

Artie'sLiver (good name), It is best if you call before you drive over to practice. Hard to tell how long the track is closed for drying out after a rain but they have it open most of the time.

today
was just at nor cal hobbies today to pick up some arms. looks like a nice place. guy in the shop was pretty nice also. I dont think i will make this week ends race but i will be racing 2wd mod at the next race (i hope).... what are you guys runnin for tires??? what about shock oil (wt)?? and piston size i will be running an rb5 but any info would help just so i'm not in the dark. do you have a big 2WD class????

They do have a big 2wd class and a big 4wd class. For tires most guys are running hole shots some bowties.

Not really loose, infact for an outdoor track I would say it is pretty hard packed. Some times I run tapper pins but they don't always work, hole shots work better most of the time. They do sweep & slightly wet the track normally. I only run 4wd so I'm not real sure about 2wd

4wd is open mod, 2wd is 13.5/19T mixed. Truck has separate classes for stock and mod.
