Default nitro

love nitro because I can fit everything in one bag and run for hours. but maybe with lipo and brushless, electric starting to look better, less maintenance.

Talking

Guys,

Electric cars are designed for short sprint type racing (5 mins for 10th and 8 mins for12th).

Nitro cars are built for endurance type racing (30 to 60 minute mains) where pit stops are required.

ELECTRICS-less maintenance harder to drive
NITRO-more maintenance not as difficult to drive

with the new lipo batteries out there now you can run longer than 5 minutes , in florida we are racing 8 minutes ( and still faster lap times than nitro tc's) With my electric tc with my mod motors i fly by the 1/8th scales at my local track with ease check out this video the yellow car is a electric tc and yes he is running rubber tires

Uh oh, you guys made this kid come back.
I have one question, have you ever driven a on-road TC with a 3.5T brushless and Li-Po? Plus, you can't compare these cars, they are completely different scales. At least compare a 720 to a S400. Not a S400 to a 960.

Nitro is what sepperates a RC from a TOY!

Nitro = A Man's Toy

Electric = A Pre-Schooler's Toy

if you plan on racing you usually need a second person to "pit" for you

electric can go just as fast as nitro if not faster.With the new technology of electronics they have the potential of longer runtimes and less maintnence.

just my 2 cents.
I have to agree with all that.
