Yup No offense to the touring guys but it just too damn complicated for me with roll centers and wieghting to make sure car is balanced. Not to mentioned frying speed controllers and tire choices. I tried it not saying it just because. James got me a set of 4 cells but I need at least 2 more to run this saturday. But As long as there are 4 5 of us Ill be out. And of course Tucson

Keep in mind that there is no on-road racing this weekend, the next scheduled on-road race is'nt untill Feb 9th. And that will only happen if the staff/ownership of SRS thinks there will be enough interest to spend the time/$ to prep the track. If I were a beting man I'd bet that no asphalt racing will happen on the 9th as all the TC and 1/12 guys have decided to run in Tucson instead of here.
Speaking of which, Isn't the X-ray '008 like $500? I see the 1:12 and 1:10 pan car getting big again.
The car above looks like a CRC 3.2, I have one and love it for being easier than my 12L4.

The car pictured in post 27971 uses the CRC center pivot (football), side links and dampers and center shock. It doesn't have the o-ring battery holdown. The rear pod cut-outs near the center pivot are square instead of angled like the 3.2R.
Tailranger: do you mean your 3.2 is easier to drive than your 12L4? I also have a 3.2R.

But I think its coming a T2 costing 500.00 I can get a 8th scale for that. Like that guy in the earlier post said....12th and 10th scale pan car may make a comeback. They are plenty fast. I raced 10th scale pan car in late 80's early 90's We used 14 turn doubles back then. And the cars had no problem being fast.
Hope to see on the 9th.

Can anyone identify this chassis? It's 2.5 mm thick. The guy I bought it from told me it was a Team CRC car?
