Believe it or not, I actually have two pairs of HPI chrome teddy bear rims that have never been opened. They are extremly gay indeed, but I've been hanging onto them because I figured one day they would be something very rare. You guys know that German wheel manufacturer Ronal used to make those for real cars, and the HPIs are copies of them right? People actually pay decent money for the real things for some reason.

You can make these pretty easy if you have the 5mm short adjusters.

SP-797 they are pretty cheap, the rest of the parts are easy but you might want to make the rod buy cutting up a screw,as i dont think Tamiya sells the rod seperate.
If you need more part numbers i can get them for you.
They just adjust the Camber of the rear wheels,something to try if you want but really i dont think it will help that much.Unless you car is completely dialed allready.

Is this the same company that made Daisy wheels for the New Beetle?

I found a set of the white teddy bear wheels on a drift site and put them on my brothers 1/18th car I got him for x-mas. I also painted him a nice pink and purple body with stars all over it, the look of shock, dissapointment, and nearly tears was awesome. Of course now IM stuck with this gay body and wheel combo seeing as how he didnt want to keep it

Well, my new Cooper S completed. After all is said & done, I'm glad I got it because I really like the subtle changes on the body, versus the '02 model. Masking & spraying this one was really easy too, & it has about 1/3 the amount of decals as the '02 model. So, now my new GT-M asphault racer is complete & ready for the spring season to begin.

Here's the final product in Spaz Stix chameleon with a white top & painted hood stripes:











I almost painted it silver, but decided to go the chameleon route at the last moment. As I posted earlier, the Cooper-S kit wheels are UGLY, so I swapped them for some deep-dish Square +4mm offset wheels & belted x-patterns. I'm running narrow(4mm) plastic hubs from a TB-02, so the wheels dont poke out of the fenders.

awesome color, how did you do chameleon?

It's straight out of an aerosal can. Spaz Stix makes an awesome product. The stuff sprays beautifully & lays down super fine. Using the recommended surface prep prior to spraying the base chameleon is absolutely key to a nice final product. This color is supposed to be gold/green/orange/purple, but the gold & orange only shows with the sun behind the car, which makes for poor quality photos. Spaz Stix has a bunch of different chameleons available... my personal fav is gold to green. They(Spaz) recommend using their black backer to seal the chameleons, but I've tried backing with several different base hues & you can get some wicked colors that way.
