I removed the brand name from my post as it was just an example and not necessary for my point.

Jack is right. If he did as he says he did and asked that they stop doing this then there isnt really anything else that could be done. It is up to us responsible consumers to continue to support our local tracks.

[QUOTE=rchoudini;3873269]Joe,
Your 1st comment, "the members support the track." Question, is this a permanent facility or a temp.? QUOTE]

It is a permenant facility run and paid for by its members, no onsite store to help with rent.

We do sell direct to them (because of their large volume purchasing power), but only sporadically since they find it just as convenient to buy from distributors. We did call them and request that they modify their price. So if they don't? Even if we didn't sell to them direct, they still would offer this deal since it was begun with stock originating from the same distributor you buy from. Perhaps you should call them and start a campaign against their company. We have always done whatever we can to protect our dealer and distribution network. I find it ironic that despite these efforts, we are still condemned. We just happened to be the company they chose to promote. What if it was our competitors that were selling for $9.99? Would there still be the outcry?

At least in my case I play no favorites, so YUP !!!

After reading all 12 pages it is clear you are phasing out alot of tire/foam combinations, I use the Jaco purples on the rear of my car and Jaco orange/purples on the front. It runs great on a tight carpet oval with just a little slip on the rear. What do you recomend I run on my car with the new Prism line? Purples on all four corners??

Thanks for any info

RC Guy, you will find two tire setups that will respond similarly to your purple/purple-orange combinations:

1. Double Pink (rear), Double Pink-Orange (front)
2. Magentas all around

Good luck!

Thanks for the info, I will order a set of each and give them a try. I have been running Jaco tires the last couple of years and really don't want to switch brands. Besides the price of the Prisms are hard to beat.

This is the closest thing I've found to a Jaco thread, so I'll ask this here even though its a little off topic. And if possible, I'd like to hear an official answer from someone from Jaco.

Is there any chance that we'll ever see the Jaco pre-mount rubber tires on a Prism style wheel? I love the prism foams, but the winds in our area are now blowing toward rubber tires. And the Jaco Green tire is on the 'un-official' list of approved tires. So I'd like to know if there is any hope that Jaco will help out the rubber guys like they did the foam.

Are you planning on releasing the new sedan wheel for the nitro guys?
