This will not make The Drake very happy, The Drake will be very upset.

Hopefully HB will start designing their own stuff.

Their Cyclone D4 is an obvious clone to the BJ4. Even look at their new slipper clutch design, copied straight from the B44. Hopefully, their 2wd buggy has some originality or something unique to it, besides purple anodizing of coarse.

Congratulations Jesse. You've supported Planet and I look forward to seeing you run with your new equipment. I guess I'll have to stock up on Hot Bodies so that when the inevitable WHOOPIN' goes down I can sell everybody one.

I think the facts around the Cyclone are well documented. Lets not turn this thread into another negative one. There are plenty of those.

The slipper is not a copy of the one from the B44. The new slipper has the ability to adjust the torque splitting ability (kind of like a 1/8 scale center diff). I'm pretty sure the B44s slipper can't do that. The D4 is different than the B44 (or BJ4) in a lot of ways. Not any one thing that is really different (except the front shock tower is behind the front shocks ), but enough small differences, to make them totally different cars. I actually just bought a D4, and I'm hoping that it is as good of a car as it looks like.
