Tekno Revo Conversion Question

I finish my Tekno conversion last nite. I have an 8xl with 4S lipo and a mamba SC. When I run it the truck didnt seem to have that snap that everyone is talking about. It didnt do any wheelies and seem to be a bit soft on the take off. I have my clutch shoes set in the leading position as the instruction says. Could it be slipping some how?
Do you guys use the clutch spring? I am running the stock ratio. What ratio is recommended. Any idea why mine is so soft on the take off? My mamba is at 0% on the punch control already.

Also be sure your slipper is set right. I run mine about a half turn out. If it's too loose you'll definitely be losing your snap there.
If you've never seen the Tekno conversion run check it out:
Vid 1: Early beta testing
Vid 2: On the track against monster trucks
Vid 3: On the track against truggies

im soon to be getting this conversion and running a traxxas VXL and 3s. it pushes my e-maxx great and blows away my 3.3 revo, so its soon gonna be in my revo. and if it doesnt run it how i like, im planning on putting a GP ammo 36-56-1800 and 4s with a mamba max

How do you lock the 2nd speed. i am running a mamba monster 2200 with a 18 tooth pin and Robertson racing still gears in the tranny. i have broke a couple of shafts when it engages in to secant. and another problem i am having is my slipper clutch keeps coming loose and if titin it to tite i eat the rerend up.
