which fuel: 15, 20 or 30%

I have a brand new RTR Tamiya Nitrage with the FR-32 engine, i am very confused on different grades of fuel, glow plug heat ranges, different cylinder heads and shims....
Living in South Central Texas, Don't race competetively, just a basher out to have some fun.
I've heard O'donnell makes some the best fuels and will most likely use their brand unless there is no difference in Nitro engine fuels, Tower Hobbies recommends 15-18% nitro but RC Driver used 30% fuel when they tested the Nitrage......what gives.?
Is there a formula for or book that teaches about increasing nitro percentage, head shims to adjust compression ratio, reading glow plugs.?
What is a Turbo head, what benefit does it offer and do they make one for the 5.2.?
Thanx for any help you offer me, i am new to this stuff and ant to learn from the best....

well if you can tune very good then use 30% for bashing and monster truck most guys use 20% but what you have to look at is oil content in the fuel that you are going to get . as for plugs the hotter the temp out side the higher number plug
