hey mark i got a JP RACING engine care kit from traxside $35 you 2 bottles of air filter oil,1 bottle of engine polish and 1 bottle of after run oil( not tranny fluid)you polish up your button head,piston,sleve,rod and crank with cotton cloth and cotton tips then rub your after run oil over the parts just the once to get the blackened stains off, then after run as nomal after meets as per usual(just 6 to 8 drops bump it on your box)then bobs your uncle one very healthy engine,the v-spec will luv ya for it

For me I use a 2T oil (the one that they use on 2 stroke motorcycles) I use it as a after run oil and foam filter oil at the same time. Does the job and saves me a lot of money.

Some of the after run oil is Marvel Mystery oil. That's what the hobbico stuff is anyway. Works really well, and since hobbico sells it by the little bottle, I can keep refilling it from the quart of Marvel I bought at the store. Plus, it has a distinct smell. LOL. That's what made me think it was Marvel Mystery oil.

I have heard that you should stay away from WD-40, as it contains petroleum which makes o-rings permeable or whatever (it makes o-rings not work anymore, causing air leaks etc.).
I use PowerSave racing after-run oil.
