HAHA its like a where's wally book took me 20 seconds to work it out.

Looks like a micro spektrum receiver and its boxed in by the servo the speedie (which has the fan on top) and the capacitor. Its half covered by a mass of thin wires.

Hey Robbie I am quite sure that the springs on Marcos's car are Tamiya
but the xray springs do fit I use the xray gold progresive springs on my cyclone also used them on my assoc.

Have the whole set will never part with it while I still race.

Are you able to get a 5mm ride height with Xray springs???

I was told by a mate of mine who borrowed my car that he couldn't get the ride height.

Is there something i need to do to make them fit or they fit straight away?

Thanks

Robbie

Yes you can I run on a bumpy track at 6mm ride height

Just unscrew the shock ballends about 2 turns and make sure the shocks are same length.

Default 39 tooth pulley

I bought a diff kit from Tower so that I would have a spare.
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXNZG1&P=7

It came with the 39 tooth pulley part 61050. I noticed that the teeth themselves are much thinner than the pulleys on the car now. Are there different ones? The manual lists the pulley as part A495. Little confused here.

Also do you adjust the diff like you would an xray? When the diff is tighter the head of the screw is down too deep to adjust it that way...

Hi Guys

I used to be an Xray Man and now I just switched over to Hot Boddies
I just baught th Cylone Moore-speed edition. What a fantastic looking car

I have one problem that I am sure came up before.
The 27T pinion gear on the motor simply can not reach the spur of 100T.

I am going to run this car on an outdoor asphalt track where they race 1/10, 1/8 and 1/5 scale cars (Both Nitro and Electric)

I am running the LRP Sphere Competition TC ESC and a 3.5Turn brushless motor powered by Team Orion 4800 Platinum 2S LIPO.
I need to get to a final drive ratio of 8.9 for large track for the 3.5Turn motor

I am not sure what the maximum Spur you can have on the Cyclone.
Cyclone IDR = 2.4375 [(Spur/Pinion)* IDR = FDR]
I think a 106T spur and 30T pinion would get me that ratio but I m not sure if they will still reach or even worse fall below the chassis line

Anyone can make any recomendations from experiance?
Thanks very much
