Actually Manynitros, if you decide to buy a new kit then your best bet would be the M8! Most of the parts are interchangable and it comes with all the Kfactory upgades...

Just a thought if you choose to go that way?

if you enjoy it dont be afraid to push it, it is very durable, my brother has taken some really nasty spills with his and still nothing has broken.. somehow, he has a very aggressive driving style as well.

Hi M1B turbo owner, my friend would like to sell of his 2 weeks old M1B turbo roller. I think he plan to sell at USD300. But not sure how much the shipping will cost as we are in Malaysia. If any of you interested, please PM for the pic. Thanks.

There are some significant improvements that have been made on the M8. It also includes upgrades like the K Factory shock towers and LX shocks too. Although it does not have the centre CVD's ??

The M1B TURBO is a really good car ................. it's the one I have

But you would have to buy the Shock towers and Shocks as mentioned above to improve the suspension set up and thats a $200 + investment (USD)
Without a range of upgrades like those mentioned, on an M1B Turbo. + the chassis stiffeners different rear arms ETC. I would say go for the M8. It's not alot more then the $300 (USD) your thinking of putting up for the TURBO!!?

The thing is with the TURBO's and also the M1B is that the owners have probably alot of money invested if they got the car from new as it was a little overpriced. So most are trying to get some of that money back. I should know.....I have a Turbo, with upgrades on and the car stands me at around $900 USD without the electronics !!!!

But I know I would not really expect to get any more then $250 for it??!!!

Crying shame but there you go. If it's any consilation......its the fastest car out there !! You can get it to handle just as good or better then the competition. You just have to work on the car to get it to work.

All the best

Default Getting the old girl out again......

Ok. So with all the talk at work from 'newbies' to the hobby. Two of them have new cars (A Buggy and a Monster Truck?!)

I decided to blow off the dust and fire up my old M1B Team Magic Buggy!?

Renewed the oil in the shocks, put the harder Orange springs on, and installed my new Radiopost electronics,

It is ready to roll. If all goes well. I may just pack up the kids and take them to the local Off-Road track this Sunday. Hehe ....

Feeling quite excited about it......

Ok. Ran the car a couple of times. Needed some improvements to make it handle.
Shortened the wheelbase, LX shocks, uprated the springs. I went to the hardest Orange springs and to 600 shock oil.

Ran again and seams alot better. May need to go even stiffer on the rear in oil. Maybe 650 or 700.

It still seams very heavy though.... maybe just the way it feels?! What's the weight on these... what should it be? Does anyone know off hand? I don't know the weight limit off hand.

May need to get to the local track to see how this thing runs in comparison to the other more up-to-date kits.
