Electric - E-Savage or E-maxx

Im looking at either getting a Traxxas E-maxx or E-savage and want to know if you have heard any comments on the two. I have owned 3 Traxxas kits over the years (REVO & 2 Stampedes) and love Traxxas Durability. Another great thing i like about the emaxx is parts are everywhere for them and other manufactures also make parts for them. I like that the e-savage comes with a dual port charger and 2 batteries but I already have chargers and batteries anyways. I know the emaxx can use the novak brushless, can the e-savage aswell?

Cheers

youll need to use a sensorless brushless motor/s (Trinity makes a nice one, forgot what it was called) on the E-Savage.

Most or all of the Novak's are too long.

you mean the motor? no its not specific to the E-savage, but no motor's are really specific to any cars. thats just a motor that fits in the E-savage, it will run with any Novak.

e-maxx, seems so low tech and out dated, but i guess it works. traxxas needs to revamp it soon.
