i am new to this forum and i must say that this by far the most informative, in depth discussion i have read about the CEN TR, i am going to be placing my order for one tonite and am glad to see and read all of the info you all have posted. thanks and look forward to reading more...

i doubt if he changes the diffs soon but to start with does the rtr have good fluid in them or should he get some of that kyosho red or black diff fluid?

The diffs come with grease which will work fine to start with. Then get my cross pin converstion kit.
I am using 17mm hubs to narrow the truck up some. The proto truck had shorter arms but I used extended 23mm hubs. Also, the 17mm hubs are half the weight of the 23mm's. And Pro-line finally released offset 17mm wheels and I like them.

Also, when we were testing the tuck, 17mm wheels would easily strip out. But now I am using the KMW Racing flandge nuts which stop that and really hold the wheel well.

to anyone wishing to purchase an arena tr, i wish you would give gene a shot. he provides great info and support, i think that is more valuable than the little amount of money you MAY save.
