I'm not a fan of the flathead screws at all, they broke my hudy tuning screwdriver So i went into dad's tools in the shed and found the meatiest flat head screw driver that would fit.

Novarossi stuff is distributed by Jim Hottinger (Fusion/HotMods) here in the US. I believe SRS got an account with them so you may want to contact SRS. You may also want to check out www.fusionmotorsports.com for some info.

With the flat heads it helps if you give them a solid tap with a hammer before you undo them /.. It will crack the tension built from heating and cooling the engine..

Default Nova 359.21

Hi there!

At Nürnberg toy fair Novarossi showed a 359.21 on road engine for 1/8th scale.
I could'nt find any info on the web. A friend told me that this will be the new top of the range engine with a so called "compressor" crankshaft. As I plan to buy the 35+21 Collari I would like to have all facts about the new mill.
Anybody?

Thanks in advance

You can get the Hudy flathead screwdriver that was made specifically for removing the scews inside the engine head of nova engines. I have been using this and no problems so far

I'd like to rebuild my Novarossi PT21 SP1 7 port circuit motor and have found this.

http://www.brooklynhobbies.com/index...OD&ProdID=2365

I'm doing the best to save some $$ as I'll be getting my own place soon. It says it will fit so would you do the same or just go with say a new motor? I'll ge picking up a Carlsen ZX21 from a friend as practice, but need a race motor as well.

Yes, they show it on Fusion motorsports web site. It shows 2.9 HP and that is pretty high.
