Good to see Losi releasing all the cool goodies for the car. Not sure if I'm going to spend my hard earned dollars on the new shocks but those 64 pitch gears are an absolute must have!

You guys are really going to like 64P on the car. The gearing can be so much more precise with 64P. Stock racers will really love 64P on the car. I can't remeber what spurs Losi will offer but I've been running 125, 120 most of the time.

Did u try Paul L's carpet set up for carpet? And did u run Ron R's parking lot set up on carpet? Just wondering, I am new to TC so this question is probably silly to you. LMAO

Does anyone know if the Composite CVD Bones from a TC3 work on the XXX-S? Are they bigger,Shorter, same size as the included kit ones?

Thanks

The outdrive end of the (TC3 Bone) is too small for the Losi outdrive. Why would you want to change it? The Losi equipment is much beefier.

I was just wondering.... Was thinking about getting the aluminum units but heard that they are not doing so hot so I thought maybe the compoiste would give me the reduced weight that I am looking for there

The Aluminum CVDs are holding quite well.

Whitester, We race on real high bite concrete tracks. I cant count how many cars traction roll first time out. Its a real tricky surface but very fast. I'm sure that Pauls setup for carpet would be fine on carpet, we were just trying stiffer setups for the concrete.

I have been running the aluminum driveshafts in the rear and have not noticed any wear.

Default RR's Parking Setup

I've been hearing a lot of good things about this setup. Are you guys using an exact copy of the setup like using Underdrive and orange/white springs?

Hi guys,

Either I got a bad part or did something seriously wrong with my one-way.

I had it in the car for all of 3 laps before I tapped a wall and one of the outdrive cups just absolutely shattered. I had just bought the damn thing, and big surprise, the parts for it are all backordered. So much for that.

I built the thing totally to spec, and I made sure that the screws were not over-tightened and everything. The only thing I did was add some lube to the one-way bearing but I don't see how that could possibly have caused this. A bunch of other guys at our track have been running the one-ways for a week now with no problems.

Anyway, just had to vent. For those 3 laps, the car did handle pretty well

Hey MDawson,

Nice looking FAQ page (like those pictures lol)

Our first batch of part Losi XXX-S hop-ups should be available very soon. The first batch will be the pivot main blocks for the front (0/4R, 2R) and the rear (0/4R, 2R). Pictures of some of these parts can be seen on MDawson's FAQ page Mark has been testing our parts ever since the very beginning of the project and he has been tearing up the competition on the track lately (I'm not saying it is all due to our parts, mark is an excellent driver just thought I make that clear...lol)

All of our parts should be available by the end of November!

Thanks

Steve Wang

Steve,

When do you think the Front and Rear inner pivot blocks will be in and what do you think the cost will be? I really want to to lower my roll center.

Yes, I know that Matt F. has them out but don't really like the red. No offense Matt.

What should it matter if it's red or not??? Once the body goes on who can see what color it is? But hey.....it's your ride.

I dont think I am gonna be able to make Enid cause I gotta go to OKC saturday to pick up a used XXXS that billy bought.

I think the way Comp has its track set up now that a oneway would work really good cause I dont like to use alot of brakes, but they dont keep them in stock.

It's nice to see Losi coming out with a graphite kit like AE did, although I have never been able to drive a car with graphite. Its weird, had a FT TC3, a KE, I updated my racer tc3 with graphite, couldnt drive any of them lol
