diff screw ... resolved?
I broke many diff screws until i drill a 2.5mm hole through the right diff hub (nut side). In fact i enlarge the factory hole (near 2.1mm) to a 2.5mm.
Before the life time of the screw was less than 6 runs. Now I didn't break any screw during the 4days of the worldcarpetcup...

What make of springs do you guys use if you want to go over the over the red hpi springs on the rear? The top guys at my club use 30lb all round and i have some x-ray light purple but they dont work if you want 5.5mm ride height, any ideas? Thanks!!!!

I use corally springs on my car. They are cheaper than xray and feel better on carpet to me. Get a Silver and Black spring set and you'll have all you need. I run 33s on the front and 19s on the rear in carpet foam. The car was really really really good in stock last week. I tqed by almost a lap over 30 other guys with my BMI Cyclone.

I've found that with the aluminum outdrives, if you slightly enlarged the diff screw hole you'll have less of a problem with breakage. I run the AE diff screw and have not have any issues.

You know now that you said that... when I bought my outdrives for the front, hole didnt seemed machined out enough for the diff screw. I havent broke one up front and have been using ae screws all around. I broke some of those, but that stopped when they took out the roadrails.
