Zeppin Racing 12TZ3 Dark Force Ceramic Sneak Preview

Still running a little rich and getting stronger. I'm really happy with the workmanship and power. I hear they're working on new stuff too. Can't wait to see what's next. Can't go wrong with the Zeppin!

I make the 5min marker with mine and have a splash of fuel left, but I slapped a CD3 tank in my car and now can get close to 6 min

I put an EB mod 18 tz in my pro mod dragster. This is a .21 class but I'm thinking the .21 has too much power for the weight so I went to an .18. I broke it in 3 10 minute periods just like the instructions said. Kinda worried me because I like to get a half gallon of fuel through an engine before I run it at the strip. It took 2nd place its first race. If I hadn't been hacked severely in the previous round I would have taken the win. The car started out at 2.41 seconds and by the end of the day had worked down to a 2.20 second ET at 58 mph for the 132 ft strip. No blown plugs running on 25% where the rest were running 55%. Took the motor apart as I always do after a race and there was no deposits or anything inside. Everything looked brand new. I didn't touch the needles all day only adjusted on the pipe length and clutch. It does the 6 ft in .347 seconds. Very comparable to my .21 powered rail. This motor has plenty of grunt and top end. I've been using Novarossi but I'm switching over to OS. Just bought a .12 TZ for my sprint car. Get some corrosion-x and use that for afterrun. You'll be amazed at how free it makes the crank bearings. Clean them up with B-12 chemtool to get all the gum out then spray with corrosion-x. Spin the crank before and after and you'll see the difference. Doesn't eat o-rings or do any damage. Their speed-x product is great for 1-way bearings. Its really for skateboard wheels but its the best 1-way lube I've found.

Running a little rich left me with more than a few drops left in the tank. Maybe about a 5:30 motor. This was on a wide open layout for our track. Motor never went over 220 after leaning it a little bit more. Top needle is a little below 2 turns out. Maybe about 1 11/12. Had to adjust my clutch between heats because it started to spin the tires coming out of the turns.
