If you get the two piece pipe make it as short as you can get it by cutting the header
Thanks Dennis,
Ironically today was the race,. and luckily I was actually able to get a hold of the new RD Logics pipe... whoa! Not only did it give great low down response but also got me to end of the straight away... while also keeping my temps down. My MR-12 was burning up with some other pipes I tried (older RD pipe, Kyosho, and Collari). The motor did have awesome snap with the GT pipe so I may try that out at Revelation later. It looked like it stopped pulling at about the distance Rev's straight is, so it may actually work.

...it's the pipe. I ran the my RTU with the RD Logics pipe yesterday and part of today there and I wasn't running out of motor. The motor was awesome before it exploded (that happens sometimes when it runs WOT upside down for a while). Dennis, see your email for more details

16% nitro and conical (turbo) plugs question.

This is a question that I've been trying to get some feedback for some time and would to ask you guys.

I'm using .12 engines with conical plugs (I hesitate to call them 'Turbo') with 16% nitro. I'm starting to do some tests with different plugs, but what puzzles me is about the difference of the Cold and Warm plugs of the same number (let's say a #5 cold and a #5 warm).

For our actual temperatures (5 - 10ºC air temp) I'm using a #5 warm and when temp raise will go to a #6, but my real question is: Cold or Warm? What differences are on those plugs and if are advantageous to keep Cold and Warm models of the same number (#5Cold,#5Warm,#6Cold and #6Warm)?

Dennis and others, what you think? on my 1/8 on road ever use #7Cold and #8Cold....

From what I understand the a "hot" plug is helps on the bottom end while a "cold" plug of the same value yields better tunability on the high end. Dennis?
