your 2 speed setup looks something like the kyosho r series ones with the screw and beveled washer to hold 2 speed on, who makes this system and where can this be obtained? this system with a screw is sooo much easier to remove and replace

Ditto on the alum. horns. That's all I've ever used as well. Never had any problems with them on any cars. I bet it would be a different story if they were located under the car.

Awesome information... By any chance you have the rates for the dark blue springs the mtx-3 prospec comes with?

Original mtx3's dark blue springs = 1.7 wire diameter, but I don't know the rates.

Dark blue springs are slightly harder than mtx4's sky blue springs.

Hey Guys I was just building my mtx-4 and got to the shocks and found something strange. I have 3 shock pistons with 2 holes in them and 1 shock piston with 1 hole in it whats the deal. What is a good weight oil to run in my shocks. I will be running on a asphalt oval. Any help would be great because this is my first onroad car. Thanks in advance.

I also had the same issue yesterday; I've been running the car for awhile now so I think its just normal wear. I readjusted the end-point but then it was to the point where it would lock the tires. I plan on replacing the brake pads with the yellow ones.
