no there are 2 main manufacturers that have subbed their work to china.. you will have to go else where .. i have soursed a few good places but at usual when there is a demand they inflate the prices.. I found some awesome bearings but the wanted too much.. Ill keep you posted when i get more results in..

My first 1/8th buggy was a Rex-x. This uses the force .21 engine. I can only say good things about this engine. It starts easy, idles niclely and make good power considering its price. I currently have about 7-8 gallons through mine and it is showing no signs of slowing down. It does like to run on the warm side as someone else mentioned but who cares.
Using this car/engine combo I have beaten some big dollar cars (MBX-5 prospec with nova rossi engine, various Hyper 7's with V-spec's).
For a replacement budget engine I would have no trouble buying another force .21.

Hey i just re read your post , the OS TZ .12 has good bearings in it.. ive modded quite a few and inspected the bearing quality and i was impressed . Im hoping that the rest of the OS range are following suit as they are a top engine.

hey can u put a single speed clutch on a pilot shaft engine??
just i have a off road buggy 1/10th and want to buy a tourer later so i need an engine that will fit both
rear exhaust is fine so is slide carb but crank shaft could be a problem
as my buggy is currently a standard crank as far as i know tourer such as mtx3/4 v one 2/rrr and fw05 and serpent 710 all need a pilot shaft so which would be easier fit a single speed clutch on a pilot shaft or fit a two speed clutch to a standard crank??
im keen to buy a fw05 because my buggy also a kyosho (tr-15) is right hand side pipe and is shaft drive so engine and pipe combo will be mixable
so please help me out with this clutch problem.
