Hi Todd
Will Putnam be releasing a capped armature for low turn mods? i have had good performance out of your 8 turn motors (all were drill balanced) but have tried two 7 turn motors, both were epoxy balanced, and the epoxy flew off within the first 4 runs.
Im after some capped, drill balanced 7 Single arms/ motors

Besercoe: Yes, I haven't epoxy balanced since the 3800's were released. We have run many arms that have had no arm caps whatsoever with no failures. You shouldn't have a failure if the proper solder, resin, heat, etc; are used.

Ok, i must have some seriously old stock then.
I will have Arcadia send back the 7 Single that both lost its epoxy, and threw a wind on its 3rd run at the TITC.
Also maybe you should contact Oscar and let him know what the correct combination of solder, resin and heat is, as he was having the same problem at the TITC. His team went through so many motors that Oscar had to requisition some motors from the track shop to get them through the event.

In all fairness, we haven't had to run them in extreme heat yet with 1.21 voltage 3800's at 35... With the added heat, I could see more failures. Trust me, if Oscar is blowing up stuff, none of us are immune to it...
