Default Rex P5 question

The last 2 races I atended i had the same problem. During the 5 min. qualifyers it runs great, but when its the mains and I have to come in to fuel up at the 5 min. mark about 25 secounds after I was fueled it shuts off. I keep the temp. around 210. Any advice would be greatly apreciated.

Thanks

need more info... as to what it could be...

here a few ideas

1. turn up idle needle. usually used to mask problems though

2. when you open fuel tank, it runs lean for a second. your engine may be too
rich LSN

3. when you pit, and you dont clear it, the fuel building up you may flame out. either rev the engine harder at pits or lean the LSN and HSN

to test whether the LSN needs adjusting, let the car sit stationary, count to 5 the car should take off without (or very little) hesistation... do this again, count to 10seconds. the car should take off with a bit of a hesitation and a puff of smoke. your LSN is set.

cheers

this is normal, when you have a "cold" splash of fuel entering the engine, it will have the tendancy to stall. The best thing you can do is to just stay on the throttle hard. Your needles might be a bit rich, but if you are running over 20 minutes, you need to keep the motor richer than normal, over a period of run time the motor start to lean out.

AT THE END OF 5 MINUTES HOW MUCH FUEL DO YOU HAVE LEFT? YOU MIGHT BE ON EMPTY AND AIR IS IN FUEL LINE WHEN YOU PIT.IF SO YOU MAY HAVE TO LEAN IT OUT A BIT JUST TO EXTEND YOUR RUN TIME IF NOT TRY RUNNING MORE FUEL TUBING OR XTRA FUEL FILTER .I HAD SAME PROBLEM JUST RAN XTRA FILTER
