Default having problems with the failsafe

I got a failsafe unit on my savage but in the last past runs the green light keeps coming on but the batteries are charged and when i try to reset not much happens so is there any thing else i can do.

also want kinda batts you using..if you are using 4 rechargable cells they dont carry as much voltage as 4 alkalines.

Its a blue dura trax fail safe and Im using 4 green juice recaharge able batters.
The guy at the hobby store said if you want to save money down the
road go buy recharge able batties.

the batts could be the problem not carrying enough voltage not real sure..try putting 4 alkalines in and see if problem goes away..rechargables when using 4 they are 4.8 volts alkalines when using 4 are 6volt..
