no its actually just all of the students in yr12 in my school that ill be competing against, its chaged since you left school qwerty.
91 students left and they are the ones ill be up against and also id rather got o tafe ,reason being that i wont end up with a 15 or 30.000 debt after i finish and also these days uni certificates have decreased in value and TAFE is the way to go now, much cheaper and you can get a better career out it. NO BULL

Uhhhh.... I think you'll find that the HSC is ranked across the state not your school. And believe me the guy with the higher HSC marks will not only beat you too a Uni degree, he'll beat you too a TAFE spot and a job too.

A bit of water has passed under the bridge since I did my HSC.

I thought the result you are given is a TER. I am sure a uni-dude like VMO could tell us, but I was sure the uni and TAFE placements are awarded based on TER.

I think I burnt my HSC results.

If not I should have.

The OX.

At least I can punctuate.

Im not hear to have a go at ya, its wierd but new to see people syked up into 1/8th......Heres an idea.. instead of spending all your spare time on the forums why dont you go out and get a job or a second one, in your case maybe a third(justtt kidding)

Peace Out
DIMO

P.S. Good luck in finding a car, hope you get one soon. Maybe you should look into an EVOLVA 2003, since the 2005 and MRX 4 are out you can slap one up cheap... parts available easy, ric barlotomazzi(sorry bout the spelling) is the kyosho dealer for AUs, and is alawys at MBank....

hey DIMO, thanks of for the advice, mm kool well if i end up getting into 1/8th and taking kyle's Evolva 05 then good to hear that we have some one known as a dealer for kyosho evolva 03&05, well you can be sure that i will be most definatly getting a job, thats one of the reasons that i need one, so that i can afford this class of racing weather it be 235mm or 1/8th on road or off road, ill most definatly be seeking one during Nov&Dec so that i can get to track early and have a ball and learn from the pro's and experienced

hehehe, people go to TAFE, UNI, decide to go straight into work, Apprenticeships etc for many reasons, some economical, other intrinsic, and the other few do it for both intrinsic and economical reasons..... I think I am doing it for self actualisation reasons. That’s all I’m going to say.

type in "maslow's hierarchy of needs" if you're interested in these social/humanist theories.

no , you compete against the whole state, for the final HSC you do exactly the same exam.

that being said, if you are top student at your school of 100 students, then you are likely to get a UAI of 99+, if you come in the middle tier of your school you would get a UAI of around 50

p.s actually with the UAI you are competing against the whole of australia. UAI is standardised across the country.
