Hi all

I have a concern that my rear droop screws do not touch the chassis and therefore are useless. The car is setup for carpet with 56.5mm tires, ride height 5mm and the shock tower is in position 2 with the arm position Outside.

With this setup, I get maybe 1.5mm droop if lucky but nothing more cause the shocks are fully extended. I treid moving to position 1 and still the same. How can i get more rear droop if needed?

Thanks

Unscrew the shock ends about 2 turns. That makes the shocks longer and gives you more down travel.

Measure the lenth of your shocks and see what you come up with. Should be around 62mm. I'm assuming the position of your tower is in the lowest setting, if not put it there and that should take of the problem. I run tires down to about 52mm, yeah that's right, all the way down to the rim, and I still get about 2.5mm of droop.

Has anyone experimented with different size spurs? I run a 128 now and was wanting a little input on how the other spurs were performing. I know most Fk05 guys have found the 116 to be the best spur to run.

Try running your ride height at 4mm for foam tires. That will give you the extra droop if you need it. Most racers run at 4mm of ride height to 4.5 with foam tires.
Also check on how you built the shocks, per the instructions. You do not want to screw the shock ends all the way in.
I am running tires at 55mm and still can get at least 5mm of droop if I want too.

Hi all

I reset the shock eyelet to give me a total length of 64mm. I can now get up to 4mm droop. I am going to run with a 1mm droop front and 1.5mm rear per the Carpet setup. I just wanted to make sure I had some room for adjustment.

Thanks

Talking Todd

I love the springs the way they are. The consistancy is top notch.
If you guys have a problem with your labels. Scotch tape one to your shock tower instead of your shock. It works great and you only use one per install.
Thanks,
TEX

Default Team Trinity Pitbox files

Hi all

Does anyone have a copy of the old Trinity pitbox tool referencing the Foam tires? It has been lost since they changed the look of the website

Thanks

He he, bit late with this one.

I found that if you run a high roll centre, esp. at the front, you have to remove some material from the a-arm on the inside or the c-hub will hit the arm and you can't get enough ride height, let alone droop if you run real small foams (55-56mm). May be irrelevant here but might help someone
